WEBSITE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Collective Dallas was tasked with designing and developing the Stack City BBQ website.
The site translates the restaurant’s energy into a digital experience that feels like stepping into the line on a packed Saturday - music up, smoke rolling, people laughing. From the hero statement and bold menu highlights through to clear “Order” pathways, every screen is tuned to move visitors seamlessly from curiosity to craving to checkout. The site prioritizes key actions, ordering, menu access, catering, and events, so guests can stack a plate, plan a block party, or hit up a late lunch with zero friction.
CUSTOM ILLUSTRATION & GRAFFITI SYSTEM
Original art extends the urban concept into a full visual language.
To capture the feel of walls tagged by local hands, we created custom illustrations and graffiti inspired graphics that echo the restaurant’s murals and street art sensibility. These pieces thread through the site as backgrounds, badges, and section markers, giving the digital experience the same layered, lived‑in energy guests see on the walls when they pull up in person.
EXPERIENCE-DRIVEN DESIGN
A visit to Stack City BBQ, translated into web.
Storytelling around the founders and crew ties technique, heritage, and community together in a way that feels personal, not corporate, reinforcing Stack City as a family and a scene, not just a counter service stop. References to the 808s in the kitchen, the neighborhood art on the walls, and the day-to-day rhythm of the shop foreground culture and connection, inviting guests into the extended Stack City family. Signature items, playful section labels, and bold food photography are arranged to preview the experience of pulling up in person, the lines, the laughter, and the stacks of meat on the board. The design leans into fun and personality, irreverent headlines, stacked type, and those custom graffiti motifs, capturing the joy and looseness of an in-store visit while still keeping the path to order fast and obvious.
