We built the site to give that history room to breathe, pairing the brand’s family-first perspective with the food, people, and traditions behind it. References to the original hand-cranked tortilla press, the recipe book that still guides the kitchen, and Jorge Levy’s commitment to making customers happy give the experience a personal point of view. The result feels rooted in the restaurant’s past without becoming nostalgic for nostalgia’s sake: it is a living Dallas institution with another generation of guests waiting to pull up.

The site puts Desperados’ signature dishes and occasions front and center, from the crispy flour tortilla tacos and sizzling fajitas to its five-time best margarita in Dallas.
